Weeding: Weeds can be spot-treated, and any dead plants from the treatment can be removed during the following visit.
Pruning shrubs means trimming away dead or diseased branches while keeping a balanced shape. Any shoots obstructing pathways, parking areas, drying spaces, vents, windows, fire exits, doors, or drains will be cut back as necessary.
Deadheading means trimming off dead flowers, stems, or leaves from herbaceous plants.
Grass edging along borders can be neatly trimmed back to maintain a clean edge. Any grass clippings should be collected and removed.
Removing self-seeded trees: Any self-seeded trees or suckers growing in the borders can be cleared out.
Pruning ivy and other climbing plants: Ivy or other climbers in borders can be trimmed to align with the height of surrounding shrubs.
Maintaining hard surfaces includes spaces like car parks, garage blocks, estate paths, and other hardstanding areas. This involves tasks such as cutting back or removing weeds and woody plants like brambles that grow in these spaces. Whenever possible, the weeds will be entirely removed.
Leaf clearance means gathering and getting rid of leaves from all edges and solid surfaces.
